READ, READ, READ THIS SUMMER!
All students entering Kindergarten through 12th Grade are required to complete a Summer Reading Project. This project will count as the first test grade in ELA. Each student received a Summer Reading Packet, including a book. If the student was not present the last week of school, the materials will be sent home with the report card.
Kelly Miller's "New" Uniform Policy
Our number one job at Kelly Miller Elementary School is to provide your child with the best positive learning experience in a safe environment. KMES will adopt a Mandatory School Uniform for the 2014-2015 school year. We believe the required uniform will have a positive impact on student's learning and behavior in school, serves to unite students, increase school pride, and eliminate class barriers. All Kelly Miller Elementary students in Child Development through Sixth Grade will be required to wear the school uniform.
