I grew up in a military family and moved often as a child so books became my friends. I was never lonely with a good book! Becoming a school librarian was the best thing for me because I could enjoy students and books at the same time.
I have a Bachelors Degree in Health Occupation Education from the University of Louisville. My Masters of Library Science degree is from North Carolina Central University in Durham, North Carolina. I have many years of experience in the North Carolina school system. My husband is on active duty Army stationed at Ft. Gordon and we have two young adult children. We hope to make South Carolina our permanent home.
