Character Education/Classroom Guidance
Character education is a theme promoted throughout the entire school. Each class receives "Character Power" lessons on a weekly basis. Respect, Transitions, Honesty, Study Skills, Testing Skill, Being Responsible and Friendship are just a few lessons that students are introduced to. I teach them character traits that will encourage them to become efficient learners and productive citizens.
Areas to include:
Communication, Cooperation, Effort, Empathy, Growth Mindset, Honesty, Integrity, Optimism, Respect for Others and Self, Responsibility, and Self-Discipline
Individual Counseling
Students may be referred for individual counseling by self- referral, teacher referral and guardian referral. The services provided will address the immediate needs and concerns of the student. The counselor’s office is a safe place for students when concerns arise.
Small Group Counseling
